Try for a chance at makeover

Although the casting call for a "Dream Makeover Hawai'i" contest is being held at the Hawai'i Woman Expo Saturday and Sunday at the Blaisdell, guys can get into the act, too, said spokeswoman Caroline Wright.

The selectee will get a makeover, including cosmetic surgery, all documented on film for a local show.

Video entries also will be accepted by mail through Oct. 19; online entry forms are at dreammakeoverhawaii.com.

Only entries submitted by U.S. citizens who are Hawai'i residents age 21 or older will be considered. Entrants must be in excellent mental and physical health and be willing to submit to medical and psychological examinations and background check.
