Police seek burglary suspect

Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 28-year-old man who failed to appear in Circuit Court Aug. 25 to face two burglary trials.

In addition to the two felony contempt warrants, Reid Nakatsu is wanted for questioning in three burglaries in the Kahala and Hawai'i Kai areas between July 26 and Sept 12.

Nakatsu has a prior conviction for a residential burglary and is know to frequent the East Honolulu and Salt Lake areas.

He is described as being 5 feet 2 and about 170 pounds, with a stocky build, black hair and brown eyes. He has multiple tattoos, including a large cross on his left arm and a small cross and the word "Hawaii" on his right arm. Tattoos on his back include the name "Adrianne," kanji characters, a mouse and a koi fish.
