Hawaiian Air keeps seats full

Hawaiian Airlines filled 87.5 percent of its seats in August, finishing the peak summer season on a strong note.

Hawaiian's load factor for the month was second only to JetBlue, which filled 89.3 percent of its seats in August. It marked only the second time this year that Hawaiian did not lead the nation's carriers in load factor. The other carriers rounding out the top five in August were Spirit, United and Northwest.
