CHANNEL HOPPING

'Two Skinny Chefs' jumps to KHON Channel 2

"Two Skinny Chefs," hosted by Beth-An Nishijima, pictured left, of Nori's in Hilo and Chai Chaowasaree, right, of Chai's Island Bistro and Singha Thai Cuisine, has switched stations and airs now at 5 p.m. Sundays on KHON Channel 2. Unlike most local cooking shows, this one travels — visiting dining spots in Las Vegas, San Francisco and New York, talking with folks such as Ming Tsai and "Iron Chef" Hiroyuki Sakai — and coming home to prepare their dishes with an Island-style approach.
