Lanikai Mortgage Players audition for the Nov. 12-21 production of the melodrama, "Murder on Tombstone Island, or Who'll Stop the Strangler," 7:30 p.m. today, Lanikai Park playhouse. 531-7511.

Manoa Valley Theatre auditions for the Nov. 17-Dec. 5 production of a comedy/mystery spoof, "Red Herring," 7 p.m. Monday at Kahawaihao Theatre on the campus of Mid-Pacific Institute. Parts for three men and three women who will play 18 characters in the play. Scripts and information: 988-6131.

Mardi Gras Follies auditions for singers, dancers, specialty acts, models and stage crew for the Feb. 18, 50th anniversary production, 8 p.m. Wednesday, Waikiki Community Center. 922-8401.



Music/Dance

St. Andrew's Cathedral Choir auditions all vocal parts for the upcoming year. Singers must be available at 9:15 each Sunday for the 10 a.m. service and 6:30 p.m. the first Sunday of each month for the 7:30 p.m. Evensong performances. Rehearsals 7:30-9:30 p.m. each Thursday. Church of the Crossroads accepting applications from alto/mezzo soprano and bass/baritone singers for their annual voice scholarships.
