As the top point-getter based on 14 designated tournaments, including a victory in the Hickam Amateur Invitational, Brandan Kop will lead the 12-man amateur team at the John A. Burns Challenge Cup Nov. 29 to 30 at the Mid-Pacific Country Club.

Kop finished with 787.50 points with Jonathan Ota next at 774.50.

Others who will be on the team based on points are Jonathan Mathias, Gary Kong, Mark Chun, Clayton Gomi, Shannon Tanoue, Del-Marc Fujita and Mike Kim.

Manoa Cup champion Ryan Perez, Hawai'i State Open champion Mark Kodama and UH-Hilo senior Nick Mason, who won the Hilo Invitational, automatically qualified because of their victories.

Phil Anamizu is the non-playing captain for the amateurs.

Ron Castillo Sr. will announce the 12-man professional team shortly.
