Advertiser Staff

Outrigger Hotels & Resorts announced yesterday it will operate its first hotel in the Australian state of Victoria.

The 35-story property in Melbourne will be a mixed-use building. The development, called Outrigger on Bourke, will be built next to Telstra Dome, a major venue for sport events. It will open late next year.

Hawaiian linked to British airline

British Airways passengers using e-tickets to connect to Hawaiian Airlines flights can now check in once, receive boarding passes for all connecting flights and pick up their luggage at their final destination because of a new agreement between the two airlines.

Previously, e-ticketed British Airways travelers had to stand in line to convert to a paper ticket to connect to Hawaiian Airlines flights. Hawaiian plans to launch e-ticketing agreements with Japan Airlines and other international carriers later this year.
