Thinking about a tummy tuck? Unhappy with the size of your schnoz?

You're not alone. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons recently released the results of its annual survey, and liposuction topped the list of procedures performed annually in the United States in 2004. A sample of the survey results:

  • 325,000: Liposuction procedures
  • 305,000: Nose reshapings
  • 264,000: Breast augmentations
  • 233,000: Eyelid surgeries

'Designers' Challenge' is here

The home makeover show "Designers' Challenge," one of Home & Garden Television's top prime-time shows, is back in town covering the renovations of two O'ahu homes: a Honolulu great room with a budget of $500,000 to $600,000, and a little girl's bedroom in Mililani for $15,000. Filming began last month and the shows are slated to air next year, said show producer Laura Patterson.

The crew from "Designers' Challenge" first came to the island last year, following the makeovers of a Wai'alae Iki Ridge house and a home in Kahala. These shows will air this summer or fall, Patterson said.

FINAL WORD

"Jake in Progress" star John Stamos | looking back at the sitcom "Full House":

"The whole time I was on it, I wished I was on another show, I'm not going to lie to you. But I look back on it fondly, and I'm proud of it. Was it 'Seinfeld,' 'Friends,' 'Mary Tyler Moore'? No. Was it a heartwarming show you could watch with your kids? Yes. And there's nothing wrong with that."
