Boys hit by car still in hospital

Two boys who were hit by a car while trying to cross 'Ena Road in Waikiki Thursday evening remained hospitalized at The Queen's Medical Center yesterday, one in critical condition and the other in serious condition, police said.

The boys, both 13-year-old Waikiki residents, were running across the street and not in a crosswalk when they were hit by a 2000 Mercedes driven by a 38-year-old Waikiki woman. The boy in critical condition suffered head injuries, police said.
