Last call tonight for tax slowpokes
By Deborah Adamson

Late filers have until midnight tonight to drop off their federal tax returns at 26 specially marked post office locations statewide and still get an April 15 postmark.
Curbside service from postal workers will be available at the downtown Honolulu post office. At the other 25 post offices, mailboxes indicating late collection service will be available for last-minute dropoff of tax returns.
This year, the U.S. Postal Service expects mail volume to rise by 5 to 10 percent on tax day, down from previous years.
"The tax-day volume has declined over the years as more people do e-filing," said Duke Gonzales, a spokesman for the U.S. Postal Service in Honolulu.
