Punahou goes 7-0 in ILH Division II

Yuree Nam scored 14 points, Arielle Daniels added 10 and the Punahou Buffanblu remained undefeated with a 70-34 victory over Word of Life last night in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division II game at Hawai'i Baptist Academy gym.

Punahou (7-0) led 17-11 after one quarter and broke open the game with a 26-7 second quarter for a 43-18 lead at intermission.

Krystal DeBorja scored 10 points for Word of Life, which fell to 2-5.

Punahou leads the ILH Division II, with Hawai'i Baptist and St. Francis tied for second at 7-1. The Buffanblu still have to play HBA and St. Francis.

St. Francis beat HBA earlier this season, while St. Francis suffered its only loss to St. Andrew's.

Holly Saito scored 22 points and Caasi Nakasone added 21, leading the Pride past the Junior Rainbows. St. Andrew's led 18-15 at halftime then pulled away with a 19-9 third quarter. St. Andrew's improved to 5-3, while UHS, led by Rachel Pacarro with 11 points, fell to 0-8.
