ROBERT JOSEPH "LOPAKA" PROULX, 89, of Waikiki and Manchester, N.H., died April 14, 2005. Born in Manchester. A steel guitarist who played for many years with the Hau Tree Gang, at Kuhio Beach and with the Paramount Hawaiian Orchestra in the 1930s. Survived by sons, Donald, Richard, Robert, David and Ronald; daughters, Lucille Tanguay, Irene Frost and Mary Leidemer; 27 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
