Hawai'i's fastest to face off

Trials for the Hawai'i's Fastest Human competition, a 100-meter sprint at the Punahou Invitational Relays, are Thursday at the school's Alexander Field.

Registration is free and at 4:30 p.m.; the races begin at 5.

People who pass the trials are eligible for the finals on Saturday at 2:10 p.m.

Polo club opens season

The Hawai'i Polo Club will open its season Sunday at Mokuleia field.

Gates open 11 a.m. with match time at 2 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults, with children free. Information: 637-8401.
