Survived by wife, Rosalie "Rosie"; sons, John III, Henry, Carlyle, Waynard, Alston, Gehrig and Garth; daughters, Charlotte and Ginger; brothers, David, Paul and Gilmore; sisters, Barbarajane and Audrey; 22 grandchildren; a great-grandson.
