Elimimian signs with Chargers

Former University of Hawai'i cornerback Abraham Elimimian today agreed to a free-agent contract with the San Diego Chargers.

Elimimian's signing was reported on the Chargers' Web site. His brother, Solomon Elimimian, who will play for the Warriors in the fall, confirmed the signing.

"It's a good opportunity for him," Solomon Elimimian said.

Abraham Elimimian was the Warriors' best cover defender last season. He did not allow a passing touchdown.

He was not selected in the seven rounds of this past weekend's National Football League draft.

He was one of 19 free agents signed by the Chargers today. The Chargers will conduct mini-camp Thursday.
