Jerome Williams sent to minors

The San Francisco Giants today sent Hawai'i pitcher Jerome Williams to its triple-A affiliate in Fresno.Williams, a Waipahu High School alum, was hit hard in his previous two starts.
He lost yesterday to Milwaukee, allowing six runs in five innings. In an earlier start against San Diego, Williams gave up four runs in four innings. He took the loss in both games.
The Giants purchased the contract of right-handed relief pitcher Al Levine from Fresno.
