"Meet the Fockers" has proved critic-proof. Despite mixed notices, the sequel to "Meet the Parents" has become the most successful live-action comedy ever made. Since its Christmas release, the film has raked in more than $507 million worldwide.

The digital edition of "Fockers" hit stores Tuesday (Universal, $30). It may have set a record for the greatest amount of bloopers — 65 — featured on a DVD. The disc also offers 20 deleted scenes, including one that features star Ben Stiller in a funny dual role.

Rounding out the disc are a variety of lighthearted featurettes.

'Interpreter' competition nil

Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn's "The Interpreter" translated into solid box-office. The United Nations thriller, directed by Sydney Pollack, debuted with $22.8 million to top the weekend. Reviews generally were positive, with critics calling "The Interpreter" an unusually brainy thriller.

The weekend's other main debut, Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet's romantic comedy "A Lot Like Love," had a so-so opening of $7.7 million, coming in at No. 4, according to studio estimates Sunday.

Expanding nationwide, Stephen Chow's action comedy "Kung Fu Hustle" was No. 5 with $7.3 million.

FINAL WORD

Minnie Driver | in the New York Daily News:

"I box as a sport, but I would never box with a man. I'm not afraid of getting hurt. Quite the opposite: I'm afraid that I would get carried away and hurt the guy."
