Oceanic staging Waipahu job fair

Oceanic Time Warner Cable has scheduled a job fair from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Hawaii Okinawa Center in Waipahu.

Job openings include accountant, account executive, customer service sales, customer service technical support representative, installer, warehouse inventory clerk, part-time computer operator, part-time credit and collections, and part-time tele-sales.

60-day housing factory opens

Aloha Aina Homes LLC yesterday opened its new state-of-the-art Factory Assembled Steel Tract housing facility in Kailua, Kona.

The 40,000-square-foot plant will produce "top quality affordable and market priced housing efficiently, with estimated construction time from raw ground to finished house within 60 days," the company said in a news release. At full production, Aloha Aina Homes can produce up to 400 homes per year.
