Quick quiz: What's worse — spending 15 minutes in the sun without sunscreen or two hours in the sun wearing SPF 30?

If you said two hours wearing SPF 30 is worse, you may want to rethink your tanning techniques.

While spending 15 unprotected minutes in the sun every few days will provide your necessary dose of vitamin D, it can also take its toll, according to an article in this month's issue of Real Simple magazine.

Ultraviolet exposure can lead to wrinkles, brown spots and even skin cancer. So slather it on and protect yourself.
