DRUG INDUSTRY TO CURB ADS
WASHINGTON Hoping to head off tighter regulation, the pharmaceutical industry yesterday announced voluntary curbs on consumer advertising, particularly TV ads that critics say are skewing medical decisions, glossing over risks and helping drive up the cost of prescription.
