A 24-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after an argument in which a coworker was punched, stabbed and shot at with a slingshot, police said.

The fight broke out at 2:43 p.m. between the 24-year-old suspect and another man, 28, at a Kalihi-area business.

During the argument the 24-year-old punched the 28-year-old man in the face before being restrained by other workers, police said. The 24-year-old grabbed a pair of scissors and stabbed the 28-year-old in the face, opening a small cut on the man's right cheek, police said.

The 24-year-old was again restrained and forced out of the area, but he returned with a slingshot and fired at the 28-year-old, police said. The man was not hit.
