The book is an illustrated collection of anykine pidgin words from anybody who'd share. Each word comes complete with definition, sentence, origin and name of contributors with, of course, wheah dey wen grad. It's deelux, fo' real.


ALOHA SHOYU WITH ICE

World championship figure skater and 1992 Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi will sign autographs next week at commissary stores. The appearances are 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday at Hickam, 3-6 p.m. Monday at Pearl Harbor, 3-6 p.m. Tuesday at Schofield Barracks, and 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Marine Corps Base Hawai'i. Events are free and only for military peoplel and families. They are promotions for Aloha Shoyu Co.; partial proceeds benefit Yamaguchi's Always Dream Foundation, which helps underprivileged kids.

Customers who buy Aloha Shoyu during her visit get a free autographed picture, or can bring one for Yamaguchi to sign. For details, call 456-0501.
