Chang cut by Cardinals

Chang didn't see many snaps during camp. The Cardinals' top three quarterbacks were set, but Chang had a chance to make the practice squad after the team released last season's No. 4 quarterback, Chris Lewis, in July.
The Cardinals signed Chang as a free agent in May after the NCAA's career passing leader was not selected in April's NFL Draft.
But releasing Chang now will give him a better shot at landing with another team before the NFL's first weekend of preseason games.
Chang, though, was expected to be with the team through at least one preseason game. The Cardinals play host to the Dallas Cowboys this Saturday.
When asked about Chang on the first day of training camp last week, Cardinals coach Dennis Green said, "The big thing is, he's got to learn the system and go out and help us as the backup player."
Chang played just one series in the team's "mock game," a glorified two-hand touch football game, last Saturday.
He went through rookie camps and was listed as the No. 4 quarterback behind starter Kurt Warner, backup Josh McCown and third quarterback John Navarre.
