Get a double dose of good vibes at the Summer Sunsplash 2 music festival and block party. After a hot run over Memorial Day weekend, the concert returns with more than 15 bands and 20 DJS, including international reggae artists Third World. Others performing include Natural Vibrations, Kimball Collins, Emirc, Kimo and Trace, and The Dancehall Jungle. STAGE: AUG. 25-SEPT. 25

Kumu Kahua Theatre's season opener is a revival of its 1990 production "Tea." Written by Velina Hasu Houston, this drama follows four Japanese World War II brides as they meet to clean the home of a fifth, who has committed suicide. Kati Kuroda directs. Tickets range from $5 to $16.

FESTIVAL: AUG. 27

All are invited out to Schofield Barracks for the 11th annual Women's Equality Day Celebration. The day features a 5K Fun Run/Walk and a 1-mile Keiki Fun Run/Walk, along with a guest speaker, keiki activities and information booths on women and community issues. Registration is from 6:30 to 6:50 a.m.; no entry fee.

The Honolulu Symphony Pops series returns for its 8th season with "The Righteous Brothers: A Celebration by Bill Medley." Relive that lovin' feeling with Medley, who honors the memory of his fellow Righteous Brother, Bobby Hatfield, with such hits as "Unchained Melody" and "(You're My) Soul and Inspiration." Turn around and put your feet on the ground to cut loose for Manoa Valley Theatre's 2005-06 season opener "Footloose." This toe-tapping musical co-authored by former Isle resident Dean Pitchford follows the story of Chicago transplants as they adjust to life in a small farming community where dancing is banned. Tickets are $30, with discounts available.

COMEDY: SEPT. 10

Former "Saturday Night Live" member Jim Breuer trots in for a performance courtesy of The Laugh Factory. Best known for his SNL character Goat Boy, Breuer went on to appear in the Comedy Central special "Hardcore" as well as movies such as "Half-Baked" and "Dick." Tickets are $30 and $35.
