Family and friends of Robert "Bobby" Amaral yesterday continued the search for him on Lana'i for a 16th consecutive day.

Amaral, 77, who suffers from dementia, was last seen on July 28.

The official search for Amaral was called off at the beginning of the month but volunteers have continued to look.

Amaral was last seen wearing a light blue T-shirt, dark blue/gray pajama pants, running shoes and a blue cap.
