Boyfriend stabbed with kitchen knife

Police said the two were arguing about 8:30 a.m. at a home on Rose Street when the stabbing took place.
Patrol officers responding to a report about an argument at the home arrested the woman about 20 minutes later at a Middle Street address for suspicion of attempted second-degree murder.
Police recovered the knife at the scene of the stabbing and the victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries, police said.
Wife confronts estranged husband, his girlfriend
A 50-year-old Liliha woman was arrested early this morning following a confrontation with her estranged husband and his new girlfriend.
Police said the woman went to the Salt Lake apartment of the new girlfriend about 1 a.m., forced her way in and began to assault her husband, 44, and his new girlfriend, 38.
Police arrived at the apartment in the 3100 block of Ala Ilima Street and arrested the older woman for suspicion of first-degree burglary, abuse of a family member and third-degree assault.
The husband punched his wife during the commotion, breaking one of her ribs, so he was arrested as well, police said, for suspicion of second-degree assault.
Camper attacked, bound with duct tape
A 32-year-old Waimea man was arrested early yesterday morning after he and another man allegedly attacked a camper in Hale'iwa.
The camper, 41, told police he was sleeping in his tent on private property when he was jumped by two men who took his money and keys about 4:15 a.m. after threatening to kill him and implying they had a handgun.
The camper was bound with duct tape and left at the campsite but was able to free himself and call police.
One of the two suspects was found by police sitting behind the steering wheel of the victim's car, pretending to be asleep.
He was arrested for suspicion of second-degree robbery, kidnapping and attempted car theft. Police were still looking for the second suspect as of this morning.
Japanese tourist dies near Kane'ohe sand bar
A 63-year-old visitor from Japan died yesterday afternoon while he was participating in an excursion to the sand bar in Kane'ohe Bay. Police said the man's body was brought to the He'eia Kea pier. He died at Castle Memorial Hospital at 5:05 p.m. The city medical examiner identified the victim as Mineo Tsunamoto.
