CATHAY CHILDREN SHARE STAGE WITH ISLE DANCERS

Dance is a form of movement that can sometimes move you around the planet. Tonight, at least, it's brought some of the young members of Cathay Future, a children's art troupe from China, to Centerstage Ala Moana. At 6 p.m., they'll meet up with the School of Honolulu Dance Theatre for a joint performance, capping off a cultural exchange between the two companies. In addition to Chinese and Western styles of dance, Cathay Future includes chorus and orchestra. Perhaps tonight they'll add hula to the mix.
