The Aloha Stadium Authority today approved a resolution that considers a total alcohol ban, but added that the proposal requires more study and alternatives.
Lt. Gov. James "Duke" Aiona had lobbied for a total alcohol ban at UH football games by the Sept. 3 season opener against Southern California.
However, lengthy rule-change procedures will likely delay the proposal until mid- to late-November, at the earliest.
