Outside linebackers Kila Kamakawiwo'ole and Tanuvasa Moe have more responsibilities than school, football and preparing for next week's season opener against defending national champion Southern California. Each is married ... with children.

KILA KAMAKAWIWO'OLE

Hometown: Kaimuki.

High school: Kaimuki High (Class of 2001).

Height: 6-3.

Weight: 240 pounds.

Family: Wife, Iwa; three children.

Ride: "I have an Accord. She has a Maxima."

Lamaze or painkillers: "She had a C-section. They had to cut her, so I'm pretty sure she took painkillers."

Birth day: "They had to go with a C-section. (The birth) was two weeks early. The (twins) had to stay in there for a week. I slept at the hospital at night, then I'd come to practice in the morning. I got some sleep, but it wasn't comfortable."

Electronic babysitter: "I put on the Xbox. They like to play Halo 2. That's the only thing I can do."

Costco or SAM'S CLUB: "I don't have a SAM'S CLUB card, so I go to Costco right now. Some days I spend $100, some days less."

TANUVASA MOE

Hometown: Honolulu.

High school: Saint Louis School (Class of 2001).

Height: 6 feet.

Weight: 220 pounds.

Family: Wife Summerlyn; three children.

Ride: "Expedition on deuce deuces."

Lamaze or painkillers: "It's painkillers all the way. After the epidural, then it's smooth sailing from there. It might be harder for the men to go through with all of the curses and yelling at us until the epidural kicks in."

Birth day: "In the middle of practice, they called and said, 'It's time.' I sprinted off with my pads. I showed up at the hospital with my pads on. I had some time at the hospital so I could take a shower."

Electronic babysitter: "Right now it's 'Shark Tale' (on DVD). It was 'The Incredibles,' but they got their hands on it, and that's the last I saw of it."

Costco or SAM'S CLUB: "SAM'S CLUB all the way. We don't have a SAM'S CLUB card yet, but our family has one. We let them buy us food. They've got the Hot Pockets and French bread pizza."
