TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"House," 8 p.m., Fox. In this rerun episode, "House" went from being a very good show to being a great one. Acerbic doctor Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) deals with his former love (Emmy-winner Sela Ward) and gives a medical-school lecture — during which he spins a powerful story. The script, has drawn an Emmy nomination; Laurie has a nomination for best actor in a drama. In another rerun, at 7 p.m., House must promise Cameron a dinner date to get her to return to work.

OF NOTE

"Tommy Lee Goes to College," 8 p.m., NBC. In this episode, rock drummer Tommy Lee pledges a fraternity and decides he really doesn't like its chores. He has a solution.

"Wide Angle: Pickles, Inc.," 9 p.m., PBS. Who knew that a documentary about a pickle company could be so involving and, ultimately, depressing? This film spent more than a year following eight Arab widows in Israel who start their own pickle company.

"P.O.V.: Hiding and Seeking," 10 p.m., PBS. Disturbed by anti-Gentile feelings among Jews, a filmmaker goes to Poland to find the Christian family that hid his future father-in-law from German soldiers. It has a happy ending. Along the way, however, the film is slow, talky and difficult to watch.
