Congratulations! On behalf of the Cal Ripken World Series Champion Oahu Stars Baseball Team, what a game! All of Hawai'i, make that the UNITED STATES, are very proud of your team's accomplishments. You have been great ambassadors of the aloha spirit and have proven to the world the true meaning of great sportsmanship. We are all happy and proud to have known a great bunch of kids and coaches.

Congratulations to the new world champions! I sat down and watched the LITTLE LEAGUE WORLD SERIES after coming back from boxing practice for my World Championship on Sept. 10. How big of an inspiration you guys are, and what a remarkable display of determination, discipline and teamwork you guys exhibited to the world. You guys made me so proud! Much love and aloha!

Congrats 'Ewa Beach. That's one of the best played games I've seen at that level. I was glue on every pitch. I also called my son, who is playing for the San Francisco Giants AAA team ... and they were watching the game in the clubhouse. Imagine that, a bunch of AAA minor league players watching a Little League team. ... We left the Islands in '82 and we still follow the local boys. ... My body is in California but my Heart is still home in Hawai'i. Thanks for making us transplants proud to be from Hawai'i.

Boys, All eyes were on you Sunday. You made people realize that Hawai'i, a small state, has the bestest of the bestest. Congratulations to each and every one of you, and your excellent, patient and supporting coaches and parents. All of you represented Hawai'i and made us all proud we are Hawaiians.

A big mahalo for making us so proud and homesick too. When it snows here this winter we will think of you while you enjoy swimming. Don't forget to study now. That's your next big challenge. Best to all.

Congratulations guys! Great, great game! What impressed me the most is that no team member stood out because you all blended so well as a team with everyone contributing. Your hard work and dedication is what did it along with your great coaching staff. I'm not a big baseball fan but this game was the best I've ever watched. You made me prouder to be from Hawai'i and you gave our country a taste of the aloha spirit. Well done!

Big congratulations to da boys of the West O'ahu Little League team who went the distance and beyond to become World Champions against what seemed like impossible odds to accomplish two comebacks and win the game in the extra inning was astonishing. ... A big congrats to the home-run hero, Michael Memea, who just a few years ago used to play POGs and basketball with my son at the house. You and the boys "believed" and made it happen! Mahalos to Coach Aliviado who showed how cool one bradduh can be. ... You represented 'Ewa Beach, Hawai'i, and the United States with pride!
