The medical examiner's office has identified a pedestrian who was killed Thursday night in Kahala as Jian Pan, 77. Pan was in a crosswalk, police said, when she was struck by a pickup truck at Wai'alae Avenue and Hunakai Street.

The accident occurred shortly after 8 p.m.

Pan was pronounced dead at The Queen's Medical Center. A police investigation is ongoing.
