Eight Warriors win All-WAC honors

University of Hawai'i slotback Davone Bess, offensive guard Samson Satele and strong safety Lono Manners were named to the 2005 All-Western Athletic Conference first team for football.In addition, Bess was named the WAC's Freshman of the Year. Bess led the WAC with 7.42 catches per game.
Left tackle Tala Esera, left guard Brandon Eaton, defensive ends Melila Purcell III and Ikaika Alama-Francis, and outside linebacker Kila Kamakawiwo'ole were named to the second team.
