ADVERTISER CHRISTMAS FUND
Mother, child need bed, clothes

 •
Help our neighbors in need

By Loren Moreno
Advertiser Staff Writer

Z.S. recently was given sole custody of her 2-year-old daughter after a bitter battle with an ex-boyfriend.

The 28-year-old single mother has cerebral palsy and lives on a fixed income.

Z.S. now lives in Makakilo and has a live-in aide to help with her daughter and with chores around the house. She receives state and federal assistance. She is unable to get around town unless someone drives her or she can take the Handi-Van.

The family could use a double bed with sheets; Z.S. now sleeps on the floor. Z.S.'s daughter needs clothes and hopes Santa will bring her a Cabbage Patch doll.

Christmas Fund donations are used for families who need help through the holidays. Any money remaining after the holidays will be used to help those in need throughout the year.

Our anonymous Santa will match the first $25 of each donation to the Christmas Fund.
