K-QUESTION

In "Farewell to Tears," will Seo-young go through with her marriage plans with Jung-woo without her parents' permission?

1. Heck yes!

2. Not until the kim chee goes sour.

3. Maybe if she got pregnant.

Polling ends at 11 a.m. Friday. See results next Sunday.

Last week's poll

We asked why Joon-woo is playing with the hearts of Ah-mi and Yeon-shim.

Of the 169 who voted, 31 said he's doing it for her money, 79 said he loves her (but not that much), and 59 said he must end up with Yeon-shim or else.

Want to be the Jasmine Trias of Korea? Now's your chance. On Dec. 27, JYP Entertainment, a Korean talent-management company, will hold its first-ever Honolulu auditions.

JYP is headed by star singer-dancer Jin-young Park, who was here three years ago for the Korean Centennial music concert at the Waikiki Shell. Internationally known, Park has worked with Will Smith, Mase, Lil' Kim, Outkast, Hillary Duff, Lil Jon, Tyrese and 3LW. Besides winning awards in South Korea, he's ranked as one of the top 10 singers of 2005 in Hong Kong.

Park's company also produces music — the band GOD has released six albums with JYP.

Singer Ji-hoon Jung (aka Rain and Bi), who recently attracted 40,000 fans in Beijing, China, and 40,000 fans in Japan, is also part of the JYP stable. With three albums under his belt, Rain is also known for his acting in such hit TV series as "Sang Du," "Let's Go To School" (2003) and "Full House" (2004), which had TV ratings of 52 percent in Hong Kong, 59 percent in the Philippines, 64 percent in Thailand and 78 percent in Indonesia. He currently stars — along with Lee Ki-woo, who attended the Hawaii International Film Festival's opening night of "Sad Movie" last month — in the series "A Love To Kill," which will air on KBFD shortly.

Other JYP clients include Noel, Byul, You Junghyun, Kim Dongyoon, Cho Gyucheul and Lim Jeonghee.

JYP has held auditions in cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago and Seattle, but this visit marks the company's first time in Hawai'i. It is looking for actors, singers, dancers and models.

You will soon see TV commercials and posters around town promoting the auditions, but for more detailed information, go to www.jype.com, and click on "JYP audition."
