Whether you're heading to Las Vegas for 36 hours or three days, it's a safe bet you'll be eating out. Zagat Survey's "2006 Las Vegas Restaurants" reviews 566 restaurants, lounges, bars and clubs based on opinions of thousands of Vegas visitors.

Zagat's "Top Food" category rated Rosemary's Restaurant "the ultimate epicurean event," with Lotus of Siam and the Hard Rock's Nobu taking second and third. "Most Popular" restaurant is the Bellagio's Picasso, a repeat of last year, with Charlie Palme's Aureole at Mandalay Bay in second spot and the Venetian's Delmonico Steakhouse in third. Hottest "Nightlife" is at Mandalay Bay's rumjungle.

But as Islanders know, the glam and glory comes with a sinful price; Las Vegas has the most expensive drinks in the country ($11.86), topping New York ($8.83) and Los Angeles ($8.66). And the cost of an average meal? A hefty $38.56. More at zagat.com.
