Suspect sought in sexual assault near zoo

Police are looking for this man in connection with a sexual assault.
Honolulu police sex crimes investigators are trying to identify a man who sexually assaulted a woman sleeping on a bench at the Honolulu Zoo early this morning. At about 3:30 a.m., the victim was sleeping at the Honolulu Zoo and awoke to find the man sexually assaulting her, police said.

The suspect goes by the name of "Sam," police said.

  • Age: 30 to 40s
  • Height: 5'10"-5'11"
  • Weight: 160 to 170 lbs.
  • Complexion: Dark
  • Build: Thin
  • Hair: Black, wavy
  • Scar: Scar on nose
