Nancy Naomi Tanouye, daughter of James and Masumi Tanouye of Tacoma, Wash., and Joel William Cline, son of Bill and Jo Cline of Hickory, N.C., were married Oct. 14 in Arden, N.C. The reception followed in Flat Rock, N.C. The bride, formerly of Tacoma, (1983 Stadium High School/1987 University of Washington), now Nancy Naomi Cline, is a logistics officer with the U.S. Air Force. The groom, formerly of Newton, N.C., is a meteorolgist. The couple live in Makakilo.

Cheryl Lynn Y.T. Wong, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin C.H. Wong of Honolulu, and M. Bradley Miller, son of Mr. & Mrs. William K. Miller of Honolulu, were married Aug. 6 at the Renaissance Ilikai Waikiki hotel, where the reception followed. The bride (Roosevelt High School/Hawai'i Pacific University), now Cheryl Lynn Y.T. Miller, is a registered nurse. The groom (Kamehameha Schools /Portland State University) is a police officer. The couple live in 'Aiea.

Natalie Taketa and Ronald Wong were married April 30 at the Hale Koa Hotel, where the reception followed. The bride (Monanalua High School/UH-Manoa master's), now Natalie Wong, is a mental health therapist. The groom (Moanalua High School) is a federal firefighter. The couple live in Honolulu.

Bernadine "Bergindy" Kaopua, daughter of Sherman Kaopua of Hilo and Bernadette Kaopua of Waialua, and Jerome Yuen, son of Curtis and Marline Yuen, were married Oct. 8, 2004 at the Lanikuhonua Campbell Estate. The couple renewed their vows Oct. 8, 2005 at a ceremony at St. Elizabeth Church in 'Aiea. A reception followed at the Hawaii Okinawan Center in Waipi'o. The bride is now Bernadine Kaopua-Yuen. The couple live in 'Aiea.
