Seven from Hawai'i in Hula Bowl

Seven football players with Hawai'i ties, including four from the University of Hawai'i, have been invited to play in the 60th annual Hula Bowl All-Star Game.

The UH players are strong safety Lono Manners, linebacker Tanuvasa Moe, defensive end Kila Kamakawiwo'ole and offensive guard Brandon Eaton.

Also invited were Saint Louis alums Vaka Manupuna (Colorado nose guard) and Joe Lobendahn (Washington inside linebacker) and Kahuku graduate Bristol Olomua (Texas Tech tight end).

The Hula Bowl is Jan. 21 at the Aloha Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
