Unexploded ordnance closes Windward-side road

Police have closed Kapa'a Quarry Road at both entrances because of "unexploded ordnance" in the middle of the roadway.

Officers do not know how big the explosive is, whether it is live, or where it came from.

It is not known how long the road will be closed, said Honolulu Police Capt. Frank Fujii.
