Services have been set for WILLIAM S. KOBASHIGAWA SR., 89, who died Dec. 22, 2005 in a pedestrian accident in Kane'ohe. He was born in Honolulu. Retired longtime Times Super Market, Kailua, Asian food specialist; World War II,100th Battalion, 442nd Regimental Combat Team, medic; and a Bronze Star recipient. Survived by wife, Margaret; sons, William Jr. and Earl; daughter, Gail Pei, Doreen Miyakawa, June Magiera and Lisa; brother, Shoken; sisters, Kiyo, Asaye Shiroma, Tomie Ige and Yoshie Tomei; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
