Woman threatens bus driver

Police arrested a 43-year-old woman who allegedly threatened a city bus driver in downtown Honolulu yesterday.At 6:20 p.m., the woman walked onto a city bus at the corner of Bethel Street and Hotel Street, police said.
The woman started to "harass" passengers, police said, before threatening the 37-year-old male bus driver. The driver immediately called police but the woman got off the bus before officers arrived, police said.
Later in the evening the driver saw the woman walking on Hotel Street and again called police. She was arrested on suspicion of interfering with a transit operator.
Man who intimidated witnesses arrested
A 25-year-old Honolulu man was arrested yesterday after he allegedly intimidated two women set to testify against him in a domestic abuse case, police said.
On Nov. 20, the 25-year-old was arrested on suspicion of abusing a household member, his 26-year-old girlfriend.
The girl's roommates, both 19, gave witness statements to police. The boyfriend was bailed out of jail that same day and returned home to the house.
On Dec. 3, the two roommates were served with subpoenas compelling them to testify against the boyfriend, police said. The boyfriend got angry, threw a tantrum, and broke an air conditioner owned by one of the roommates, police said.
The three women fled the house and called police. The boyfriend threatened both of the witnesses who were to testify against him, and neither showed up in court, police said.
Police arrested the man yesterday on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening, two counts of intimidating a witness, and criminal property damage in the third degree.
Man with dagger arrested
A 31-year-old man was arrested for possession of a deadly weapon and shoplifting at a Honolulu grocery store yesterday, police said.
At 6:10 p.m., officers arresting the man found a dagger tucked into his belt, police said. The man was arrested on suspicion of theft and possession of a deadly weapon, police said.
