Bank robber sought

Police and agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation are trying to find a man who robbed the Beretania branch of American Savings Bank yesterday evening.

At 5:52 p.m. yesterday, the man walked into the bank, handed a teller a note demanding money, and left with an undisclosed amount, police said. A weapon was seen tucked in the waistband of the man's jeans, police said.

He fled on foot, police said.
