Police said the woman who was hit with the bottle about 2:40 a.m. was upset because her boyfriend was dancing with the other woman.

The girlfriend let it be known through a third woman that she did not want the other woman dancing with her boyfriend. When the woman who was dancing with the boyfriend was told about the girlfriend's concern, she responded by hitting the woman in the head with the bottle, police said.
