Jellyfish closes Hanauma Bay

City Ocean safety officials closed Hanauma Bay today because a large number of box jellyfish washed ashore.Prior to the park's opening this morning, officials determined that the number of jellyfish made it unsafe to swim and sit near the water.
Ocean safety officials and Hanauma Bay Beach park employees will reassess the situation tomorrow.
