Airline tops U.S. in punctuality

Hawaiian Airlines finished 2004 once again leading the U.S. airline industry in on-time performance.

Hawaiian has been No. 1 in on-time performance for 14 straight months. For December, Hawaiian also came in first in luggage handling and second in flight cancellations, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation.

For the year, Hawaiian was ranked first in punctuality and second in baggage handling and boarding reliability.
