Boating skills classes setting sail

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will hold a Boating Skills and Seamanship classes, beginning Monday at Windward Community College.

The classes will cover all aspects of boating, from choosing a boat, navigation, equipment to weather and more over 14 weeks.

Upon completion of the course, participants can receive 15 percent off boat insurance and other benefits.

Classes will meet in Room 101 of the Manaopono Building on Mondays and Thursdays through March 31, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
