Tonight's Must-See
"Everybody Loves Raymond," 8 p.m., CBS. Here's the kind of episode few shows would try: The entire thing happens in one room. We get the six regular characters, one guest, a couple of kids, nothing more. It's done like a play a good one with clever writing. The plot is razor-thin: Ray made a joke about letting the janitor clean up; he didn't realize he was talking to a custodian's son. By "Raymond" standards, this episode is only average; compared with almost any other TV comedy, it's terrific.
"Fear Factor," 7 p.m., NBC. One week from the million-dollar finale, there are four couples left. "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition: How'd They Do That?," 7 p.m., ABC. Sunday's rerun showed a century-old farmhouse being fixed for a widow. Tonight, we see how it was done. "Still Standing," 7 p.m., CBS. Fitz isn't enjoying his single life. "Listen Up," 7:30 p.m., CBS. Tony's daughter promises to get rid of her tattoo if he loses 10 pounds. "The Bachelorette," 8 p.m., ABC. With only four guys left, Jen visits their hometowns. "24," 8 p.m., Fox. Still unable to stop the terrorists, the government takes a drastic step: It will evacuate six cities. "Two and a Half Men," 8:30 p.m., CBS. The three guys keep planning a trip to Las Vegas. "CSI: Miami," 9 p.m., CBS. Two dead people are found in the same hotel. "Medium," 9 p.m., NBC. A good samaritan shows up at the prosecutor's office and Allison recognizes him from one of her brutal visions. "P.O.V.: Chisholm '72: Unbought & Unbossed," 10 p.m., PBS. When Shirley Chisholm ran for president in 1972, people seemed doubly nonplussed by a black female candidate. This documentary is a portrait of the political groundbreaker, who died last month at 80.
