American Airlines will keep pillows on Hawai'i routes

Advertiser Staff

American Airlines' decision to eliminate pillows on most of its domestic routes will not apply to flights to and from Hawai'i, the airline says.

The Fort Worth-based carrier says that pillows will be removed from most flights beginning next Tuesday in a cost-cutting move expected to save $370,000 a year.

Hawai'i will be exempt from the move, as well as U.S. coast-to-coast flights and international flights to Europe, Asia, and South America, according to the airline.
