OSU leads Taylor Made

Oklahoma State shot a four-man team aggregate 264 for a one-stroke lead after the opening round of the Taylor Made/Waikoloa Intercollegiate Golf Tournament at the Waikoloa Village Golf Course on the Big Island.

OSU was 24 under par on the par-72, 6,791-yard course. USC is second (265), followed by Augusta State (270), Kansas (272) and Colorado (272).

Host Hawai'i-Hilo is at 280, with Hawai'i-Manoa at 290.

Oklahoma State's Tyler Leon, Augusta State's Emmett Turner and Kansas' Tyler Docking share individual medalist honors at 8-under 64.

Taylor Wood and Bradley Shaw of Southern Cal, and Ryan Posey of Oklahoma State are tied for second at 65.

UH-Hilo's Nick Mason shot a 69 and was tied with 17 others for 31st.
